I hold a Phd Degree in Transportation Planning and Engineering. My expertise is about transportation engineering, mobility management, traffic psychology and sustainable modes of transport.
Curently, I am Assistant Professor at the Civil Engineering Department of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece.
I am author, or co-author of more than 120 research papers which have been published in international and national journals, books and conferences.
I have been involved in various national and EU funded projects (Intelligent Energy Europe, INTERREG IVC, 6th and 7th Framework etc.).
Professionally, I have been involved in the study of large scale transport infrastructure projects, such as the feasibility study of the Thessaloniki Metro extension to the city of Kalamaria, the submerged tunnel of the city of Thessaloniki, the revenue estimation of Egnatia odos tolling system etc.
Between 2010-2014, I served as external advisor at Thessaloniki Public Transport Authority.
